while it hasn't always received the best reputation, one
organization is working to show local students just how
important coal is their their daily lives.
CEDAR,
or Coal Education Development And Resources of Virginia,
Inc., recently received the green light from the Buchanan
County School Board to offer a coal study unit program for
local students.
