Ball
  Descendants of the late Seymour and Lola Duty Ball, Rev. Allen Sr. and Rachel Cook Ball and Luther H. and Margaret Ball families will hold a reunion Saturday, September 16 at the Council Community Center, in the Council Recreation Park, beginning at 10 a.m. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish. Dawson-Rowe
  The Dawson-Rowe reunion will be held September 23, 2006 at the Patterson Fire Department, beginning at 11 a.m. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and drinks. For more information, call 935-2351 or 935-5275.

Dawson-Rowe Cemetery
  A reunion for all who have family and friends buried at the Dawson- Rowe Cemetery on Rowe Mountain will be held Saturday, September 23, 2006. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish and drinks. Attendants will travel to the cemetery after lunch. For more information, call Shirley Hurley at 935-6648.

Duty-Deel
  Descendants of the Benjamin and Tildia Duty Deel family will hold a reunion September 16 at the Council Park, beginning at 12 noon till close, shelter #1. Horn-Horne
  Descendants of the Squire and Henry Horn family will hold their annual Horn and Horne reunion September 23 at the Keen Mountain Recreational Park, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish, drinks, chair, old photos, auction items (handmade, canned food, or antiques only). Matney
  The Matney reunion will be held Sunday, September 17 at 1 p.m. at the Patterson Fire Department. Those attending are asked to bring  a covered dish.

Stiltner
  Descendants of Roy Stiltner and Lydia (Stacy) Stiltner will hold a reunion, September 16, 2006 at Keen Mountain Park, Shelters #1 and #2. Registration begins at 12 noon. All those attending are asked to bring a covered dish, dessert, drinks and old pictures and other items for display. Plates, cups, silverware, napkins and coffee will be provided. A memorial table will be set-up for pictures and other items to share wit the family. Whitewood School
  The Whitewood School annual reunion will be held Saturday, October 21, 2006 at Twin Valley High School at Pilgrim Knob, Va. Doors open at 12 noon. Attendance cost is $15 per person. GHS Class of 1961, 62, 63

GHS Football 1986-1987
  A reunion for the Garden High Football team, from 1986 to 1987 season, will be held at 6 p.m. on Homecoming night, September 22 at the tennis courts beside the football field at Twin Valley Elementary-Middle School.
