  The joint reunion for the descendants of William and Jane Owens Bostic and Noah and Polly Ann Johnson Duty will be held Saturday, September 9 at the Council Community Center, located at the William P.   The first annual family reunion for the W.A. (Sid) and Josie Brown family will be held Saturday, September 2 at the covered shelters at Southwest Virginia Community College from  12:30 until 5 p.m. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish, dessert, drinks, and old family photographs. Davis
  The annual Lee Davis family reunion will be held September 8 at the Lee Davis family cemetery picnic shelter, located down The Davis Ridge Road. Cookout begins at 6 p.m.  Those attending are asked to bring food. Bluegrass music will be held Friday and Saturday evening. September 9 a four-wheeler ride starts at 8 a.m., originating at the cemetery shelter.   The Estep-Scarberry reunion will be held Labor Day weekend, September 2, 3 at the home of Leroy and Gladys Estep. Saturday will be Kid's Day.  Prepare your kids for fun and games and be prepared to get wet. Please bring your favorite appetizers, snacks and cold drinks.
