The church was located on Little Garden near Oakwood. It was thought to be built in 1938 or 1939 by the late Rev. Charley Clayborne. Service was held there until the early 1950s, when the Rev. Grat Harton of Richlands joined the ministry and discovered the church had become too small for its growing congregation. A garden was donated by Clayborne in 1955 for the construction of another church. Harton continued to pastor until 1963 and was followed by J.R. Stump until 1976. In 1970, the church was moved to its current location, as the Keen Mountain Pentecostal Holiness Church on Route 460. Rev. Jack Keen took over pastoring duties until 1983 and was followed by Randy Webb, who continues there today. This photograph was submitted by Helen Meadows.
