POSING AT the old Grundy portrait studio, Eula Ratliff Wright and Kenneth Foster are  pictured here in 1949. The son of the late Charlie and Lidia Foster of Poplar Creek, Foster went on to become the father of Sheriff Ray Foster and Judy Ramey of Poplar Creek. He had four sisters, Yvonne Osborne, Annette Duty, Mag Babu, and Thursia Stiltner (deceased), and two brothers, James and Jessee (Bud) Foster (both deceased). Wright went on to become the mother of Nancy Jones and Larry and J.D. Wright. She had many brothers and sisters, including Jim Ratliff, Jr., Lester Ratliff, Jerrell Anderson, Udell Darnell, Marie Recant, Ann Ruth McColl, Emil Ratliff, the late Ercell Ratliff, the late Retha Miller and the late Villa Weaver. She died in February last year.
