  Descendants of the Henry and Myrtle Damron Baker family will hold a reunion July 15 at the Elkhorn City Park, beginning at 6 p.m. There will be a cookout and Gospel Sing. Descendants of the Joseph and Louisie Coleman family will hold a reunion July 15 at the Fishtrap Dam, shelter two, beginning at the 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lunch will be served at noon. Compton-Jackson

The Annual Deskins family reunion will be held on July 15 an 16, 2006.   The 36th annual Elswick reunion will be held Sunday, August 13 at the Breaks Interstate Park, Potter’s Knoll shelter with registration set to begin at 9 a.m. All Elswicks and relatives attending are asked to bring a covered dish and desserts. Plaques will be presented in six categories as well as Elswick crafts to be auctioned off during the reunion festivities.
