Barton Cemetery
    The Annual Barton Cemetery meeting will be held Saturday, May 20, starting at 11 a.m., located on Route 657 (Back Hurricane). There will be singing, preaching and plenty of food. Blankenship Cemetery
    A memorial service for the relatives of families buried at the Eli Blankenship Cemetery on Knox Creek will be held May 14, 2006, beginning at 10 a.m. Services and lunch will be held at the home of Kathleen Bailey at 11 a.m. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish.



 

Griffith
    Descendants of Reese and Mary Ann Griffith will hold their third annual family reunion on Saturday, June 17, 2006, starting at 12 noon, at the Patterson Volunteer Fire Station, Patterson, Va. Lester-Rowe
    Descendants of the Dowl and Nancy (Nan) Lester Rowe family will hold a reunion June 3, 2006 at the Breaks Interstate Park, Shelter #7, beginning at 10 a.m. Activities will begin at 12 noon. Matney-Vandyke
    The Matney and Vandyke reunion will be held May 7, 2006 at the Keen Mountain Park, Shelter #2. Family and friends are all welcome to attend. Ratliff
    Descendants and friends of Columbus and Myrtle Ratliff will hold a reunion, Sunday, May 28, 2006 at 10 a.m. at the Breaks Interstate Park, Shelter #7. Remember your camera and games. HHS Class of 1991
    Honaker High School Class of 1991 has planned its 15 year reunion for July 29, 2006 at William P. Harris Recreational Park in Council, Va beginning at 1 p.m..
