THREE GENERATIONS of the Kelly family and their neighbor gathered for this 1950s photograph. Pictured from left to right, are Melvin Kelly; his father, Crockett Kelly; Crockett's grandson, Edmond Horn; and neighbor, Nath Horn. Natives of the Pilgrim's Knob area, they are all deceased except for Edmond, who lives in Fayetteville, NC. Melvin Kelly is the father of Ruby Jean Horn, Billy Kelly and Bonnie Coleman. Nath has several children, including Ralph Horn, Gertrude Wallace, Bobby Keen, Lottie Bond, Sara Horn, Sharon Ward, Patsy Rummer and Junior Horn. The picture was submitted by Ruby Jean Horn.
