Joseph Browning Kendrick, pictured with wife, Charity, helped found the first Corinth Baptist Church where he pastored until the time of his death on April 2, 1913. He outlived all 20 of his brothers and sisters and is buried in the Hart-Kendrick Cemetery on Hart's Creek. Charity died October 25, 1923 and is buried by his side.
