Twin
Valley
finished
a
perfect
8-0
in
Black
Diamond
District
play,
despite
playing
a
less
than
perfect
game
in
its
season
finale.
A
strong
second
half
pushed
the
Panthers
past
Council,
53-26,
in
a
low-scoring
BDD
contest
Friday
night
at
Council
Elementary
School.
In
a
less-than-dazzling
offensive
display
by
either
team,
Council
controlled
the
tempo,
Twin
Valley
got
three
starters
in
early
foul
trouble
and
the
Cobras
took
a
6-4
lead
in
a
low-scoring
first
quarter.
The
Panthers
(16-6)
rallied
midway
through
the
second
period
and
took
a
17-14
halftime
lead.
Twin
Valley
then
stifled
the
Cobra
attack,
giving
up
just
three
points
in
the
first
11
minutes
of
the
second
half.
Adam
Keen
led
Twin
Valley
with
12
points
and
nine
rebounds.
Josh
Smith
got
all
of
his
11
points
and
eight
rebounds
in
the
second
half,
and
Hunter
Simpson
scored
all
of
his
10
points
after
halftime
for
the
Panthers.
