A
Twin
Valley
Elementary/Middle
School
substitute
teacher
has
been
charged
in
connection
with
a
relationship
he
allegedly
had
with
a
juvenile
female
at
the
school.
Pete
Osborne,
37,
also
an

JV
volleyball
and
basketball
coach
at
Grundy
High
School,
was
arrested
Friday,
December
21
and
charged
with
one
count
of
indecent
liberties
with
a
child,
according
to
Virginia
State
Police
spokesman
Sgt.
Michael
Conroy.
School
Superintendent
Tommy
P.
Justus
said
the
school
system
was
aware
of
the
charges
and
Osborne
has
already
been
suspended
while
the
investigation
and
criminal
proceedings
are
ongoing.
"We
know
that
Mr.
Osborne
has
been
charged,"
Justus
said.
The
relationship
allegedly
took
place
between
August

the
time
of
Osborne's
arrest,
Conroy
said,
and
involved
a
14-year-old

The
alleged

and
turned
in
to
authorities,
Conroy
added,
which
led
to
the
investigation.
